Overview: Saiko Pansa was a fighting game I helped develop as part of a team. The team leader was Lincoln Uyeda and the other members were Lucas Cook, Alex Reeve, Andrew Cunningham and myself. I worked mainly on the physics. The game was intended to be a standard fighting game but with realistic physics and severable limbs. I decided to write a ragdoll physics engine similar to the ones in the newer first-person shooter games. While the physics engine was a success, integrating it with the gameplay proved more of a challenge. The results are interesting, if not quite playable.
