Overview: This was my first major game, written near the beginning of high school. It is a remake of the 1986 classic Sopwith II (numeral III was my abandoned earlier attempt at a remake). Sopwith had 4 levels, AI, graphics using the Allegro rendering engine, sound, and a GUI. I wrote it alone, but used some artwork developed by others. It gained some popularity among my friends and users of a forum dedicated to the original game, and eventually spread somewhat further and, I understand, was responsible for many lost hours of productivity in an office of Deloitte & Touche. I have received some fan-mail, including from overseas, for this game.
